She is best known for her role in the roles of Jen Scotts in Power Rangers Time Force Ted Mosbys Sister Heather on How I Met Your Mother and Kendra Burke in Saving Grace. She played Felicity in the character who was a part of the ABC TV show Red Widow. At the age of four she began performing in the local high school plays. After eight years of performing and singing lessons, she became Miss Preteen Virginia. Miss Pre-Teen Virginia was her title in 1991. Also, she was crowned first as Miss Junior America's initial and second. Her acting continued throughout her time in high school at Brooke Point High School where she served as the leader of numerous clubs, including The Honor Thespians group. Her junior year at Brooke Point was the only group of her year to get perfect scores in all areas that comprised an Governors School for the Arts audition for drama. In addition, she won Best Actress overall at the Actors Models Talent for Christ competition when she was just aged 16. She was awarded individual and company awards when she joined the Barton and Williams Dance Company. She went to Marymount Manhattan College, New York in 1998 after graduating the high school. The award was given to students specifically for the performing arts as well as academics. When she was 19, she quit school to pursue an acting profession.
